Duquesne University's Mon Valley Outreach Program for Businesses

(08/30/2011) - Duquesne University's Small Business Development Center has created a new program focusing on helping small businesses in the Mon Valley area. The Mon Valley Outreach Program (MVOP) offers free one to one counseling and mentoring assistance to help companies obtain their sales and growth objectives. Assistance may be provided in marketing, finance, quality and environmental management, energy saving opportunities, procurement, green initiatives, web site creation and effective use, and export sales. The MVOP places a main focus on "green" initiatives becoming a part of the workplace and the goal that every small business should create their own website.
