North Braddock Company Secures Enterprise Zone Loan

(07/15/2014) - Gumpher Electrical Services of North Braddock recently received a $40,000 loan from the Enterprise Zone serving Braddock, North Braddock, Rankin and Swissvale (EZCB). The Enterprise Zone loan is part of an expansion of Gumpher Electrical Services located at 99 Center Street.

The $40,000 loan is being utilized for equipment purchases. Further, Gumpher secured bank and private financing and acquired the building and purchased additional equipment. New jobs are being added.

Gumpher Electrical Services provides a wide range of electrical services including Generators Services. High-end Lighting Services, Commercial and Industrial Electrical Repair Services for commercial and residential properties in the Pittsburgh area.

The company has been in business for over 15 years.

Owner Dave Gumpher said "I'm from this area and find this to be a great place for my business. We work with larger companies like railroads, medical facilities and utilities and we also do commercial work for individual businesses and residential customers. North Braddock Borough and the Enterprise Zone are doing a good job in encouraging business investment. I encourage others to look to the Enterprise Zone for financing assistance."
