EZCB Annual Dinner Held December 5, 2013 at Grand View Golf Club

(12/16/2013) - Approximately 40 local businesspersons and public officials attended the 27th EZCB Annual Dinner on December 5, 2013 at the Grand View Golf Club. Guest speaker Mark Urbassik of KU Resources, Inc. discussed the clean-up activities of Mon Valley Brownfield sites. Mr. Urbassik's firm was involved with environmental assessment and clean-up of the former Carrie Furnace Site in Rankin and Swissvale and the former Braddock Hospital property which are both being redeveloped.

Mr. Urbassik advised that most larger former industrial sites in the area have been cleared for redevelopment.
