Swissvale Business District Improvements

(11/08/2013) - The EZCB has been involved with Swissvale Borough's Economic Development Advisory Committee, which has been working with Klavon Design Associates on a plan for Washington Street in the central business district. CDBG grant funds from Allegheny County assisted the project. The EZCB assisted Swissvale Borough in securing a Streetscape Perspective Sketch from Klavon Design. The project was initiated in the Spring of 2013.

During the summer of 2013 new street lights, trees and concrete work was undertaken along Washington Street.

Improvements in adjacent areas of the business district are taking place and planned.
