EZCB Closes on Loan with The Brew Gentlemen Beer Company

(11/09/2013) - The Enterprise Zone Corp. of Braddock closed on its 48th Enterprise Zone loan on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 with The Brew Gentlemen Beer Company. The $55,000 loan is part of an over $200,000 project involving the purchase of equipment, building renovation and working capital.

Brew Gentlemen Matt Katase and Asa Foster are locating this new start-up business at 512 Braddock Avenue in Braddock. The Brew Gentlemen Beer Company is a craft brewery offering a unique lineup of beers. The brewhouse is 1,400 sq.ft. The taproom space is 900 sq. ft. with storefront access to Braddock Avenue. The location is across from The Overlook, a new residential development, and a commercial building being built by Trek Development.

EZCB President William J. Pfoff said "It's great to have two young entrepreneurs come to our Enterprise Zone. There's a great deal of development taking place in Braddock and we expect The Brew Gentlemen to do well in this location".

The opening of the brewery has not been set but look for an announcement of the opening.
